1. Pebble (Watch)

No one would have imagined that the project was able to raise money over $10 Million pledged by 68,928 people. On May 18 2012 the funding was closed.

2. OUYA

OUYA is a microconsole running on Android operating system developed by Ouya Inc.

OUYA is the highest crowdfunding project on Kickstarter. Company used crowdfunding platform to raise money. Initial amount that was set by the company is $950,000.

The company was able to raise around $8,596,474 which is over $8 million. The company was ended on August 9, 2012.

Development units began shipping in March 2013. Officially released in June 2013.

This project was also completed on Kickstarter.

3. Veronica Mars

Veronica Mars is an America neo-noir mystery comedy drama film. This project was also launched on Kickstarter.

The total amount of money that was set for raising the fund was $2 million. This project was also very successful and the campaign was able to raise around $5,702,153, it is over $5 million.

The project was successfully completed on April 13, 2013.

4. Torment: Tides of Numenera

Torment: Tides of Numenera is a video game. This project was raised on Kickstarter. The project was launched on 6 March with a $900,000 goal.

Crowdfunding platform is the best way for raising money said by the project director Kevin Saunders. This project was endorsed by two members of the original Black Isle team.

This campaign was able to attract high profile backers such as the creator of Minecraft, Markus Persson and chief of Razer USA.

The campaign reached the initial funding goal and it cross over one million dollar mark in the first seven hours. It became the fastest project on Kickstarter.

Total money that was raised is around $4 million.

5. Mighty No 9

Mighty No 9 is also a video game. To raise money for this project kickstarter platform was used.

The project was launched on in the year 2012. It was very successful. The amount that was set by Mighty No 9 was around $900,000.

The campaign was able to raise around $4 million dollar at the end of the project. The project came to an end on Oct 1, 2013.

All of its private blockers were able to raise money successfully.

6. Project Eternity

Pillars of Eternity is video game and it raised its fund on Kickstarter platform.

The amount that was set to raise money was around $1.1 million. The project was very successful and it was able to raise around $3.9 million.

The campaign came to an end on Oct 16, 2012. The amount they received was through PayPal and its total value was over $4.1 million.

7. Double Fine Adventure

Seventh most successful crowdfunding campaign was double fine adventure video game. This project was also raised on Kickstarter platform.

Around 87,142 backers for the project and it was most backed project only surpassed by Veronica Mars Movie Project in April 2013.

The highest funded kickstarter video game until it was surpassed by Project Eternity in October 2012. The project could credit around 60,000 backers who raise money for the project.

The project came to an end on March 13, 2012.

8. Home Stuck Adventure Game

Home Stuck Adventure Game is an adventure game. It was raised on Kickstarter platform and the project achieved its objective.

The project was set for $700,000 and it was able to reach the target. On Oct 4 2012, the project was able to raise more than $2.4 million very successfully.

9. Scanadu Scout

For a diversion Scanadu Scout crowdfunding project was raised on Indiegogo platform. This is medical gadget basically a health scanner. It is basically a scanner packed with sensors designed to read your vital sights and send them wirelessly to smart phone.

$100,000 was the set target and the campaign was able to collect over $1.6 Million. The last date was Jul 20, 2013.

10. Canary

Canary is basically a security system and it was very challenging to raise money for the project. It has Mac Pro design with it vertically standing hub design. The system has many benefits and features that could have attracted a lot of people.

It has features like IR motion, humidity, temperature and air quality sensors. The adopters would like to see this device and examine all its features. The device was priced $199. The founder of the company said the received orders from different countries.

Hence, their project was going to be successful.

Target that was set for Canary system was around $100,000 and they were able to raise around $1,961,862. At least 2 million dollars that is 20 times higher what they wanted to achieve. So Canary system was a big crowdfunding success.

11. Kreyos

Kreyos is a smartwatch. This project was also raised on Indiegogo platform. The gadget is all about voice and gesture control.

Target was set for at least $100,000 and more than $1.5 Million was raised successful. The last date of campaign was Aug 12, 2013. It was very successful campaign on Indiegogo.

12. Tesla Museum

Tesla Museum also used Indiegogo to raise its fund. On May 2, 2012, Tesla Science decided to raise money for their organization through crowdfunding.

Target was $850,000 and the campaign was able to raise the desired money. It raised around $1.3 Million successfully. The last date was Sep 29, 2012.

13. LIFX

LIFX Labs Inc raised money through crowdfunding on Kickstarter platform. The product was LED light bulb.

The target was only $100,000 and they rose well over $1,314,542. This was a successful project done on Kickstarter.

14. Order of the Stick

Order of the stick is a comedic web comic. It used Kickstarter platform to raise money. Order of stick was able to raise th
e desired amount of money.

The amount to be raised was only $57,750 and the amount that was raised is over $1.2 Million. A successful crowdfunding campaign when it comes to comics.

15. Omni

The last successful crowdfunding campaign in our list is Omni. Omni is basically a VR gaming device. The project was raised on Kickstarter platform.

The target was around $150,000 and it was raised successfully. The amount raised was well over $1.1 million. The last date for campaign was Jull 22, 2013.

It was also a success story.
